It's troubling to see how many students these days have completely zero school pride. They don't bother about their school, they don't get involved in events, and they just seem apathetic. It's like they've lost sight of what it means to be part of a team and believe in their fellow students. This lack of passion is harmful to the entire school environment.

This Isn't My Old School
When I read the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't spark feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a distant concept. Maybe because my time there were quite unique, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reflect. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't have the same weight for me as it does for others.
It's not that I haven't appreciated my time at school. It was a valuable chapter, just not one that resonates in the way many people describe.
Perhaps it's because I discovered my passions outside the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are more focused on unique experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

The world doesn't accept that I exude a different hue. They watch with disgust as I show the fact of my nature. My essence is a symbol of {somethingdifferent that they can't imagine. They label me as alien, but I am simply special.
Spirit Week? Sounds Like Work
Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing my school colors and screaming at some game I couldn't care less about. I value knowledge, not glorified cheering.
- My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. Their spirit fingers are weak.

Here For All The Snacks
Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me pizza rolls any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
